WLD 111 - Arc Welding I

This course covers the safety, equipment, and skills used in the shielded metal arc welding process. Fillet welds are made to visual criteria in several positions. This course will cover proper setup of equipment, polarity, AWS electrode classification numbering system, different joint configurations and designs and the proper welding symbol, joint type and position numbering system.

This course is typically taught only in the fall semester.
