This course is an introduction to the application of surgical technique by assisting in the perioperative roles in various clinical affiliations.

Prerequisites: Prerequisites with a grade of “C” or higher: BIO 115 or BIO 225, SUR 103, SUR 123, and SUR 125.

Corequisites: SUR 104.

This course is typically offered in the summer semester.
