Each associate degree program consists of a basic core of at least 15 semester credit hours of general education courses. The general education core includes at least one course from each of the following areas: the humanities/fine arts, the social/behavioral sciences, and the natural sciences/mathematics. Each diploma program consists of a core of at least 8 semester credit hours of general education courses. Note: Some courses require prerequisites. Check for course prerequisites in the section entitled “Courses .” Following is a list of general education courses:
