This course covers the principles and application of aseptic technique, the perioperative role, and medical/legal aspects.

Prerequisites: Prerequisites with a grade of “XC” or higher: MAT 013 and RWR 032 and a grade of “C” or higher: CPT 102 or satisfactory placement score.

Corequisites: AHS 102, BIO 112 (or BIO 210 and BIO 211), and SUR 101.

This course is typically taught only in the fall semester.
