Marketing and Sales for Small Business Certificate (MSSB)

Marketing and Sales for Small Business Certificate can be obtained completely ONLINE 
through selection of appropriate classes.

The Marketing and Sales for Small Business Certificate program is designed to provide fundamental knowledge of a wide variety of sales and marketing techniques for small businesses, start-ups, retail sales, and non-profit organizations who lack a centralized marketing strategy. The certificate focuses on online marketing and promotional strategies and web design as well as face-to-face sales and customer techniques. Students will learn to understand the customer journey to best apply effective marketing and sales techniques. Upon completion of this certificate, students will be able to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy and learn to work with professional advertisers to create brand, message and image.

Developmental Courses

This program of study requires that all developmental courses be completed prior to graduation. These developmental courses may or may not be prerequisites to courses required in the program. Developmental courses are determined by placement tests taken at the time of admission into the College. The developmental courses are MAT 013  and RWR 032 . These courses do not count for credit in any program of study.

The program requires that CPT 102 - Basic Computer Concepts  must be successfully completed prior to entry in the program or placement into CPT 101 - Introduction to Computers .
