NUR 214 - Mental Health Nursing

This course facilitates the utilization of the nursing process to assist in meeting the needs of patients with common mental health problems. Focus is on the dynamics of human behavior ranging from normal to extreme.

Prerequisites: Prerequisites with a grade of “C” or higher: BIO 225, NUR 170, NUR 201 or NUR 210, and PSY 203.

Corequisites: NUR 220.

This course is typically offered in the fall and spring semesters.
